KVS Sanatorium

Cough’s end

An abandoned laundry and housing facility at the KVS sanatorium site in Skåne, southern Sweden. Some parts of the sanatorium are still active while others have been abandoned for years. Much has been torn down of what once was a large compound and the fate of the remaining buildings is uncertain. This section was constructed in 1925 and the architect Gustaf Birch-Lindgren.

Tegelbruket / The Brick Mill

During the winter of 2008/2009 we visited this little brick mill located in the remote parts of the Västmanlandian flat lands, Sweden. The colorful splatter is a result of the only (occasionally) ongoing activity here now – as paint ball range. Plenty of old machinery and tools left which is not very common, but very appreciated. During the second visit we found a way to enter the work shop and welfare area and the last pics in the set are from there.
